All Dantina products are handmade in Tuscany.
The connection to the region is very strong, as the founder, Altea Cirri, was born in Prato and lives in Pistoia.
These two different cities allowed for the birth of Dantina in November 2022.
Thanks to the textile culture rooted for centuries in the Prato province, it was possible to understand how important excellent quality raw materials are, such as the fabrics used to create Dantina products.
About forty years ago, Pistoia was one of the most important Italian cities for the artisanal creation of 'corredi' (trousseaus), pajamas, nightgowns, and everything needed to make a home beautiful to live in; grandmothers, aunts, mothers worked, sewing with the best fabrics to create products with attention to detail, and this allowed Altea Cirri to learn to sew with a flat machine thanks to her mother, who has a lot of experience in this now-past sector.
